Submission Call:
We invite writers to submit original short stories for "Pixelated," an anthology exploring the intersection of freedom, technology, and social issues.
We seek stories that creatively blend these themes, emphasizing their interconnections, as technology's dual role in empowering and limiting freedom is shaped by and shapes social concerns, highlighting the importance of a balanced approach for positive societal impact.

Bonus Tip: We love robots, explicit scenes and talking cats
We look for stories in genres such as transgressive, sci-fi, New weird, and horror.

Submission Guidelines:

Theme: Stories should revolve around the themes of freedom, technology, and social issues.

Word Count: Stories must be between 2000 and 5000 words.

Submissions should be original and previously unpublished works.

Multiple Submissions: Authors may submit up to two stories for consideration.

Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by May 1, 2024.
Please note that this is a non-paid opportunity. Selected authors will receive exposure and recognition for their work within the anthology and a copy of the book.
Selection Process:

Our editorial team will review all submissions and select up to 15 stories for inclusion in the anthology.

Selected authors will be notified via email by the end of May 2024.
How to Submit:

Send your story as both a Word document and a PDF to this link or email to transgressivestory@gmail.com. Include a brief bio in the same document, written in the first-person point of view, introducing yourself as a flawed human being in a maximum of 80 words.
Example: I'm [Author Name], a writer with an unusual knack for tripping over my own words and losing myself in daydreams. I've embraced my imperfections, like my uncanny ability to spill coffee on every manuscript I've ever written, and my knack for misplacing pens right when inspiration strikes. (You can include a list of your published works as well as link to your website and social media here).
